A Letter From Your AUPFA Board Director

Posted about 4 years ago .

Parents and families,

As spring semester quickly comes to a close it is time to make sure your new and returning student(s) have everything lined up for summer and/or fall classes. For those of you with graduating seniors- CONGRATULATIONS!!!

New students (and parents) will want to visit the First Year Experience Office website. There are pre-enrollment modules and an advising session that must be completed prior to registering for classes. Access opens on Monday, May 3. Additionally, fourteen, one day, on campus or virtual Camp War Eagle sessions will be held June 29 – July 15. Registration for Camp War Eagle is now open.

All students who are enrolled in at least one class on campus participate in a meal plan. The level of participation is determined by your housing status. There are new Campus Dining options for the fall. You can get all the information you need and answers to FAQs here .

To help with your summer and fall planning you can get class start, drop and end dates from the Academic Calendar and stay updated on changes to campus COVID-19 guidelines through this Medical Clinic website.

As we look forward to fall (and a football season that is maybe a bit more “normal”) I encourage you to check this link throughout the summer for updates on the Fall Family Weekend that is sponsored by the Office of Parents and Family Programs. The event will be held on Homecoming Weekend and we are hopeful it will once again feature the BEST tailgate party on the Plains!

War Eagle!
