Virtual Part-Time Career Fair

Part-Time Job Career Fair
Posted over 3 years ago .

The career fair is on August 25, 2021, but starting on August 18 students can go to: https://cfplus.page.link/T6Lz to create an account and sign-up for specific times to meet with employers. All students will need to visit this link: https://cfplus.page.link/T6Lz between August 18 and August 25 to sign-up to meet with an employer. Students can also create an account and sign-up for times by searching for and downloading the Career Fair Plus app.

Please note - these meetings are NOT interviews, but rather a time to meet with an employer, learn about the organization and then ask for an interview with the companies you are interested in. For those who are invited to interview, they will be held at the University Career Center on the 4th floor of Mary Martin Hall.

Relevant work experience is a vital piece of a competitive résumé. Attend the Part-Time Job Fair to network with employers offering opportunities to add to that experience. Business casual attire is strongly recommended.

Virtual career fairs are online 'events' that allow employers and students to meet in virtual environments such as through voice calls or video chat rooms, and offer a number of advantages to both students and employers! Students benefit by saving valuable time which can be used on employer research and practicing elevator pitches. Moreover, students have the opportunity to meet with a wider range of employers, some of whom may not typically attend an all-day on-site event. The Career Fair will be working with Career Fair Plus to host the upcoming virtual career fair, to create an intuitive, user-friendly experience for students and employers. Students can download the Career Fair Plus app in preparation for the virtual fair and check out this video demo to see how it works!

BUSINESS CASUAL ATTIRE
Students may not be looking for a full-time position just yet, but they need to dress in business casual for this virtual career fair! If students need business casual attire to wear to the career fair, please visit the Campus Career Closet.
