Auburn University’s Fall 2023 Commencement is just a few weeks away! Commencement is a time of great pride and achievement for both students and you, their parents, and families! It’s an opportunity to celebrate the culmination of years of hard work and the beginning of a new chapter.
For parents with students who are graduating Fall 2023, here are a few things to know:
Ceremony Details
Fall 2023 commencement will take place on Saturday, December 9, in Neville Arena. Be sure to check out the commencement website to know when your student’s College ceremony will take place.
IMPORTANT: FALL 2023 TICKETING GUIDELINES
Students graduating Fall 2023 will receive nine (9) tickets per graduate. Tickets are FREE and can be requested by students here. Students have until October 24 at 5:00 p.m. to register for their tickets.
All graduates planning to walk in commencement MUST register for a ticket themselves, regardless of whether they have guests attending (tickets are required for entry into Neville Arena).

Regalia Ordering & Pick Up
The final order deadline for graduation regalia is Monday, November 6. Any order placed after November 6 must be placed in person in the AU Bookstore which will incur a $25 late fee and be subject to limited size availability.
Pick-up for orders placed before October 9 is October 31 – November 3 in the AU Bookstore.
Pick-up for orders placed between October 9 – November 6 is December 4 – 9 in the AU Bookstore.

Clear Bag Policy is Strictly Enforced
The clear bag policy for Auburn athletic events is also enforced for entry into Neville Arena for commencement ceremonies. Be sure you are familiar with this policy prior to entering the venue.
