Hello Raptor Region Parents & Families,
It is hard to believe the fall semester is winding down!
Fall exam week is December 4-8, 2023. A complete exam schedule with times can be found here. Then our students will be home for a long break! If your student needs a study break during this very stressful time, have them check out the Auburn Events Calendar. Everything from sports, clubs, and other university groups list their events on this calendar.
Looking ahead, Wednesday, January 10, 2024, is the first day of class for the spring semester. The academic calendar for the entire 2024 calendar year can be found here. If your student has struggled this past semester, suggest they check out Academic Support by clicking this link. Academic Support contributes to retention and degree completion for Auburn University undergraduate students, and most of their services are free for our students. The office has a variety of academic skill development programs that promote self-directed learning strategies and student success.
If your student is graduating, congratulations to your entire family! You can find graduation information, including ticketing guidelines, by clicking on this link.
As I am writing this, our football team has just had a couple of SEC wins, and excitement is building around this team that we can add more to the win column. Regardless of how the rest of our season ends, it is always great to be an Auburn Tiger! I love a quote by Pat Dye that I am reminded of this time each year: "Alabama fans love Alabama football. Auburn fans love Auburn."
My son graduated in May and is now in law school, so my time on the board is closing. However, it has been a joy to represent the Raptor Region on the Auburn University Parent & Families Association Board of Directors for the last three years. Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can ever assist you or your student. As always, it's great to be an Auburn Tiger!
