Career Center Part-Time Job Fair

Auburn University’s Part-Time Job Fair will take place on Wednesday, January 17, from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. in the Melton Student Center Ballroom.

This fair allows students the opportunity to network with a variety of local employers, including Auburn University, looking to hire Auburn students! These part-time positions are not only a way to earn income but also to gain relevant work experience that will make your student stand out among their peers.

If your student needs help with their resume prior to attending the fair, Career Discovery and Success can help them create a professional and thorough resume. Students can learn more about taking advantage of their services here.

How can you support your student?

  • Talk to your student about their interests and the skills they want to develop. This can help guide them in selecting the right part-time opportunities at the fair.
  • Offer to review your student’s resume and provide constructive feedback, or encourage them to make an appointment with Career Discovery and Success for a resume review.
  • Suggest your student research participating employers in advance and prepare a brief introduction (elevator pitch). Confidence goes a long way!
