What is a 1098-T?

1098-T forms contain information related to your student’s education expenses at Auburn University for the past calendar year.  1098-T forms will be available for your student to access via AU Access by the end of January.

How will Auburn students receive a 1098-T?

Your students can follow these steps to access the form:

1. Log into AU Access.
2. Click on the “My Finances” tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
3. Under the “My Finances” section in the middle of the screen, click “1098 Tax Information”.
4. Click “Select Tax Year”. Enter the tax year to view the form.
