Convocation

Since 2010, every incoming class of Auburn students has participated in Convocation the night before classes begin. The purpose of Convocation is to welcome the entire class at once and ensure they are ready for the semester ahead. While the ceremony has evolved over the years, key components remain that emphasize:
- The Auburn Creed and what it means to be a part of the Auburn Family.
- The value of academics and the understanding that college is a time to learn.
- The Auburn Student Experience and the importance of outside-the-classroom experiences.
- Auburn traditions, including Aubie, athletics, and the Alma Mater.
