Auburn Highlights:Auburn is my favorite place to be in the fall. The traditions that surround Auburn football are the best. From Tiger Walk to the Eagle flight to rolling Toomers corners, it just doesn't get any better. We love staying at Lake Martin and taking the short drive in for the games. Tailgating and seeing old friends is another great bonus!
Tips:Freshman year, especially the first semester, is always an adjustment. Many students adapt quickly and have no problems, but for most students, it is a hard transition. Prepare your students to expect to be homesick and to second guess their decision to go away for school - these are all normal feelings. Going back for the second semester will be hard, but almost all students find their place, and by the end of the second semester, they love where they are and can not wait to go back for year 2!
