Fall Family Weekend

All Auburn Family members are invited to campus for a weekend of activities, programs, and the chance to watch the Tigers play in Jordan Hare Stadium. Each year, Fall Family Weekend is aligned with the Homecoming football game, so you get to experience campus life while enjoying some beloved traditions like the homecoming parade, pep rally, and tailgating. Last year, over 3,500 family members visited and enjoyed the Parent & Family Association Tailgate, making it the largest tailgate on the plains!
Fall Family Weekend Tailgate
The Auburn University Parent & Family Association Fall Family Weekend Tailgate will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Cater Lawn. Many events are open to all, but the Fall Family Weekend tailgate is a ticketed event. This event is fun to meet other Auburn families, enjoy a traditional southern barbeque meal, dance with a local favorite- DJ Ozz, and take a photo with our beloved mascot, Aubie.
The menu for the event includes:
- BBQ chicken, pork, or tofu
- macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, watermelon, chips, cookies,
- canned soda and bottled water
Also provided at the tailgate are clear stadium bags, shakers, buttons, and toilet paper while supplies last.
Tickets are $15 for students and $30 for adults. Once tickets are purchased, wristbands for the event can be picked up by either parents or students on Friday from 2-5 p.m. at the Auburn Sportsplex or Saturday during the event at Cater Lawn.
Note: Student tickets are for kids of all ages through college. So, if you are bringing a child from home or a student from another college, they should each have a student ticket.

Most certainly! We recommend comparing the schedule of events to see if it is feasible to attend the Fall Family Weekend Tailgate in addition to Greek events.
Is there a refund policy?
Fall Family Weekend tailgate is a rain-or-shine event.
